Last Sunday morning a small group of us met at Plaza Mont Kiara where we were a part of a fitness awareness event organized by Sun Yoga. The place was bursting with colour and activity thanks to its weekly flea market. Apart from stumbling upon interesting knick knacks from the stalls, we also discovered closet line-dancers in our midst (you know who you are!). Our 2 rodas were played before a captivated audience, most of whom had never been exposed to capoeira before. Thanks to all who managed to turn up!

Rafael, Quek, Coelho, Tartaruga, Jamal, An Nur and Azrina will be flying to Jakarta this Friday, 4th of February, as our representatives in [Grupo Bahia’s](http://www.capoeira.cc/) annual batizado festival over the coming weekend. Let’s all pray for their safe passage there and back, and that they will have a great time mingling with fellow capoeiristas. In their absence, Andrew, Jai and Terry will be conducting classes at the academia as per usual.
