We went, we saw, we had fun! Jakarta was the place to be for amazing displays of capoeira last weekend and we were honoured to have been a part of Grupo Bahia’s first ever batizado. Our gracious hosts were Mestre Cicatriz, Mestre Torpedo, instructor Tata, instuctor Jensen and instructor Ratinho whom made us feel most welcome throughout our stay.

On behalf of Rafael and the rest of Bantus we thank Grupo Bahia for their warm reception and for their dedication to the art. We would also like to congratulate all the students of Grupo Bahia who were awarded their cords in recognition of their efforts and training. Go Jakarta!
