Brazil Fest 2008

Brazil Fest 2008 is here! This year we are going to have a huge contingent of capoeiristas and students from overseas taking part in our event. Get ready for a week of world class capoeira workshops, Malaysia’s first capoeira championship, parties and street shows, more and more samba, a Brazilian themed art and photography exhibition and lots of fun fun fun!

Pre-event: Look out for more info on the Spirit of Brazil: Photography and Art Competition. Have your art displayed at Pavillion and Cloth & Clef and win attractive prizes.

Important Notes About the Batizado Ceremony

Please note that your registration for the festival does not automatically guarantee that you will receive your first or new belts during the ceremony. Our mestre and your instructor will be responsible to award eligible students with their new belts at their discretion.

You are required to own a pair of official Bantus Capoeira Abadas (Pants) to be eligible to for grading.

Payments

Payments can be submitted to our instructors, Mr. Rafael Rosario or Mr. Quek Wei Kin in the form of cash or check made payable to Bantus Capoeira Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

As with all major events, things won’t be able to take off quite as spectacularly without your participation. Take this time to get to know your immediate and extended Bantus family, help out with preparations at the academy, make new friends and be a part of something fun and exciting!

Closing date for registration is Monday, OCT 27 so please hurry!
