Congratulations to all involved during last weeks amazing Brazil Fest 08. We are taking a much needed break from classes at the Academy and Bom Brazil this week for some rest and recuperation. Other classes at Tru Fit, Celeb, PW, and WMAC will go on as usual. A bunch of us will be in Singapore for Bantus Capoeira Singapore’s festival this weekend. See y’all on Monday at the Academy!

What a superb week it was full of fun, friendliness and forro ..err .. I mean samba! Thanks to all those who made it happen, all the instructors (capoeira & samba!) and to everyone for making us ‘foreigners’ feel so at home!
Thanks again Rafael, Queca, Cuelho and all the others who organised things and helped us!

I just want to second Gigante in his comments. I loved every second and was so blown away by all the kindness and generosity shown all week long. You guys have great energy and it was a priviledge to be part of it. Big thanks to Coelho and Ju Li and Rafael and Marissa who endlessly looked after Grao and my needs and gave up their rooms for us. Big thanks to Teresa and Valerie for giving Grao a day of terror/fun on various water and upside down adventures.
