Public Roda - Astro Sokker Safari for Man Utd vs Malaysia

Bantus Capoeira is part of the Astro Sokker Safari, a series of events leading up to the World Cup in South Africa next year! Please be on time for this as it is a scheduled performance in the itinerary for this event

GBCM Cultural Week 2009

We are organizing Grupo Bantus Capoeira Malaysia’s 1st Cultural Week at the Academy and we need your help to make it a success.

Street Roda at Bukit Bintang this Sunday

Capoeira Workshops at Living Arts Puchong

Come join us as we train and learn from Bantus instructors, Graduado Rafael and Instructor Cueca. Capoeiristas of all levels are welcomed to participate.

Bantus 5th Anniversary Roda and Weekend Charity Demo

Come on by to academy for our 5th Anniversary Roda 2009 and potluck

Note: Go easy on the desserts and sweets guys, the last few times we had like 10 cakes haha. Instead bring more salad, sandwiches, local food, think one cake will be enough!

In other news, we will be doing a charity demo for an event called Project Unmasked: The Story Behind HIV/AIDS. It will be a free and easy demo so all are welcomed!

Busy Weekend

Hey all we have two, maybe three items on the agenda for this weekend!

  • Where: Lake Gardens (you can see us there at the bottom of the map shown below with Remy Airbrush and Sageema)
  • When: 5:30pm Saturday 28th March
  • Attire: Bantus T-shirt

We will have a booth up for promotions of our classes primarily the Bom Brazil classes downtown. The booth will be there from 2pm till midnight. I need 3 people to man three shifts as follows.

  • Shift 1: 2pm to 5:30pm
  • Shift 2: 6:30pm to 9pm
  • Shift 3:  9pm to midnight

Basically just treat it as a day out in the park. Feel free to hang out and look around just make sure at least one of you is a the booth. You can train a little in the park, give out flyers and talk to people about Bantus Capoeira.Spread the lurrrve…..
